Children belong here.

Like Jesus, we cherish and love children. We know childhood is a crucial time for faith development, and we warmly invite children and youth to take part in exciting, fun, and purposeful Christ-centered activities throughout the year.

Children are valued members of the body of Christ. We seek to meet them where they are and invite them to move, create, listen, wonder, and participate fully in the life of our church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Every Sunday, children begin in worship with their families. Following the Children’s Message (also called “Wondering Time), children ages 3 through grade 5 are invited to join adult leaders for J.A.M. — Jesus and Me — or remain in worship.

NURSERY
Childcare is provided on an “as needed” basis in the upstairs Sunday School hallway (Room F 205) by an experienced volunteer and helper. If you anticipate needing childcare on a Sunday morning, please contact Christina, the Director of Children’s and Youth Ministries, before Sunday morning. ‍

CHILDREN’S SPACE
The Children’s Space at the back of the sanctuary includes rocking chairs, rugs, books, quiet activities, and a mandala prayer station. It allows children to move, create, listen, and observe while remaining part of the worshiping community.

Sunday Mornings

J.A.M. - Jesus & Me!

Our multi-age Sunday School class helps children experience God’s presence through prayer, stories, crafts, games, and activities with friends of all ages.

Following the Wondering Time in worship, children preschool age through grade 5 are invited to join two adult leaders for Sunday School in room F207. The class uses “Feasting on the Word” which is a Presbyterian (PCUSA) curriculum to explore the scripture and connect faith with their lives.

All of Concord’s volunteers who work with children and youth have had a background check completed and have completed  sexual abuse prevention training.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our Director of Children’s and Youth Ministries, Christina Pressley, or ask one of our greeters on Sunday morning and they would be happy to assist you!
