Our Preschool Programs
Every stage of early childhood brings new discoveries, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Our age-appropriate programs are thoughtfully designed to meet children where they are, nurturing their natural curiosity and helping them develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive.
One-Year-Olds | Onesies & Tweenies
Our one-year-old program provides a loving, nurturing environment where our youngest learners can safely explore, discover, and grow. Through sensory experiences, music, movement, stories, and play, children begin developing important social, emotional, physical, and language skills. Our caring teachers encourage curiosity, build trusting relationships, and celebrate each child's growing independence as they discover more about themselves and the world around them.
Learning Focus: Sensory exploration, early language development, fine and gross motor skills, social relationships, emotional awareness, and early literacy.
Two-Year-Olds | Twosies & Trainees
Two-year-olds are full of curiosity, energy, and a growing desire for independence! Our program embraces this exciting stage of development through hands-on activities, imaginative play, creative expression, and opportunities to explore the world around them. Children learn to communicate their thoughts and feelings, develop friendships, practice new skills, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Our teachers provide gentle guidance and encouragement as children grow in independence, emotional awareness, and their ability to interact with others.
Learning Focus: Language development, imaginative play, sensory discovery, social-emotional growth, fine and gross motor skills, and emerging independence.
Three-Year-Olds | Preschool
Our three-year-old program introduces children to a world of new ideas, friendships, and discoveries. Through a balance of structured learning and creative play, children develop early literacy and math skills, explore science and nature, and strengthen their ability to communicate, cooperate, and solve problems. Our nurturing teachers encourage children to ask questions, express themselves, and become increasingly independent while building the confidence and foundational skills that prepare them for future learning.
Learning Focus: Early literacy and letter recognition, counting and number awareness, scientific exploration, creative expression, physical development, friendships, and social-emotional skills.
Four-Year-Olds | Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-Kindergarten program helps children build the skills and confidence they need for a successful transition to kindergarten. Through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, children strengthen their abilities in reading readiness, early mathematics, science, creative expression, and problem-solving. Just as importantly, they learn to work cooperatively, make independent choices, communicate their ideas, and navigate social relationships. Our teachers nurture each child's curiosity and growing independence, helping them approach their next educational adventure with excitement and confidence.
Learning Focus: Kindergarten readiness, language and literacy, early mathematics, scientific inquiry, problem-solving, creative expression, social-emotional development, and independent learning.
Hours & Availability
We know that every family's schedule is different, which is why we offer flexible childcare options designed to support busy parents while giving children a safe, nurturing place to spend their day. Our part-time and full-time childcare programs provide opportunities for learning, creative play, outdoor activities, and meaningful connections with teachers and friends.
Preschool-Only Hours:
9:00–11:30 a.m.
Full-Day Childcare Hours: 7:15 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday
Families can choose from two-, three-, four-, or five-day schedules depending on their child's age and program. Pre-Kindergarten is offered four or five days per week.
Lunch Bunch & Extended Care
Our Lunch Bunch program gives preschool-only children the opportunity to extend their morning, enjoy lunch with friends, and spend additional time playing together. Children bring their own lunches and stay from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Early morning care is also available for preschool-only children beginning at 7:15 a.m.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Learning at Concord extends far beyond traditional classroom activities! Our children enjoy a variety of enriching experiences that encourage creativity, movement, exploration, and connection.
Music and physical education are included in tuition, giving children regular opportunities to express themselves, develop coordination, and discover new interests.
Monthly chapel gatherings offer an opportunity to explore faith through age-appropriate lessons and stories. Additional enrichment programs for children ages three and older have included soccer, Spanish, yoga, and technology activities.
Throughout the year, special celebrations and events bring even more excitement to the preschool experience. From seasonal festivities and visiting performers to family gatherings, educational visitors, and end-of-year celebrations, these experiences create lasting memories and bring our preschool community together.
Some of those special celebrations and events include:
Halloween Parade – In October all children will participate in the Halloween Parade
Fire Truck – During Fire Prevention Week, the fireman and his fire truck will visit us and talk to the children about fire safety
Performances – Throughout the school year such as puppet shows and plays
Lunch with Santa – In December Santa will come to visit, give gifts, eat lunch and sing songs with us
Traveling Zoo – Every May, the Traveling Zoo will visit and let us see their small animals
